How to install OTOO on a Fire TV Stick (2 minutes, no PC)
Sideload the OTOO IPTV player on any Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube with the Downloader app and a short URL.
OTOO runs on every Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube. Until the Amazon Appstore listing is live in your region, the fastest way in is a sideload through the free Downloader app — it takes about two minutes and needs no computer.
1. Allow apps from unknown sources
- Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options.
- If you don't see Developer options: Settings → My Fire TV → About, then press the Fire TV Stick row seven times. Go back and Developer options appears.
- Open Install unknown apps and switch Downloader to On (install Downloader from the Appstore first if you haven't).
2. Download OTOO
- Open Downloader.
- In the URL field type
otoo.app/fireand press Go. - The APK downloads and the installer opens. Choose Install, then Open.
3. Add your playlist
OTOO shows a MAC address on the first screen. On your phone or computer open otoo.app/mylist, enter that MAC and paste your M3U link or Xtream login (server, username, password) from your provider. The player refreshes within a minute and your channels appear.
Tips
- Remote keys: the Menu button opens the channel list; long-press OK for catch-up and EPG.
- Buffering? Fire TV Sticks share Wi-Fi with everything else in the house. A 5 GHz network or an Ethernet adapter fixes most stutter.
- Free trial is automatic on every new device. When it ends, activate for the year — or grab the free daily code.
OTOO is a media player. It does not include, host or sell any channels or streams — you add your own playlist from your provider.
